Roller coaster dream

Dry leaves crackled beneath her feet, twigs snapping as she picked her way carefully through the brambles. Sunlight seeped into the canopy, revealing the deep greens and musky browns that held an eden, compelling her to reach the heart of this forest. Dark shades of mystery hid behind leafy facades, and she quickened her steps in anticipation of what this fine paradise would behold.

I pulled open the canopy, a colossal roller coaster threatened to swallow me whole. With bursting excitement, I scrambled aboard the rollercoaster, tussling for prime seats with my uncle and his children. With no warning our monster of a ride took flight, wildly winding its way through the forest seeped in sunlight.

My screams were swallowed by the loud winds against my face, I saw nothing but blinding arcs of deep greens and musky browns, the loud whistling of wind giving way to the pounds of the churning Niagara falls. We emerged from the canopy and zipped dangerously near the falls, the icy swirls of air cooling our hot cheeks. The rollercoaster dropped speed and starting cruising leisurely.

As we disembarked from the roller coaster, I looked back and saw that the ones who were with me had disappeared into thin air, only to find another uncle and his children. I threaded through the surroundings of the mysterious Niagra Falls and I bolted from my dream, my heart racing through the night.
